DESCRIPTION

Luna is an ongoing zine project by photographer Lele Saveri, self-published on the occasion of every full moon since October 2014. For each issue, Saveri selects photographs taken during the previous lunar cycle, makes 4x6 inch prints, and lays them out on blank folded sheets of paper, reproducing 20 to 30 copies with black-and-white Xerox machines. The majority of them are given away for free, with a few sold at bookstores or book fairs.

The selected images document Saveri’s experiences, encounters, and surroundings from that month, covering subjects like street scenes – primarily in New York City, where Saveri works in Emergency Medical Services – portraits of friends and strangers, street protests, and quiet, often overlooked corners of everyday life.

Luna is a visual record of the moon’s influence on the photographer’s personal life. Luna 10 Years reproduces chronologically selections of all 123 zines made through October 2024 marking the series’ tenth anniversary.  

Lele Saveri is an Italian-born photographer and community organiser based in New York City. Primarily working as a documentarian through photography, video, and self-published works, he draws most of his inspiration from counterculture, city life, public interaction, and social uprisings. Saveri’s work has been exhibited in various institutions, including MoMA (New York), FOAM (Amsterdam), La Triennale (Milan), the Brooklyn Museum, among others. In 2012, Saveri co-founded 8-Ball Community, an art collective and non-hierarchical organisation that supports independent art and publishing through events, radio, TV, and zines, fostering DIY culture and creativity in New York and beyond.

For all orders under $300, a $15 shipping fee will be applied at checkout.

We accept returns on all full priced items within 7 days of receipt for a credit note or an exchange. Earrings, socks, swimwear, intimates, and fragrance cannot be returned for a refund or exchange for hygiene reasons, unless faulty. Client is responsible for paying all return and exchange shipping costs.

Yas. We offer free standard shipping on all Australian orders over $300.

Orders under $300 are charged a flat rate at checkout. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination.

We offer same-day click and collect from our Collingwood store. Select "Pick up in store" at checkout and we'll have your order ready within a few hours.

We accept returns and exchanges for change of mind on full-price items only: sale items, earrings, lingerie, hosiery, and swimwear are final sale.

To be eligible, you must contact us and return the item within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging with tags attached.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, we recommend using a trackable service.

If you've received a faulty or incorrect item, please email hello@manebystable.com.au within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photos of the fault, we'll arrange a replacement or full refund and cover the return shipping cost

We do. Just select Afterpay as a payment option at checkout to split your purchase into four fortnightly payments.

Care instructions vary by garment and are listed on the product page under the Care accordion where available. When in doubt, cold hand wash and lay flat to dry is the safest approach for most of the garments we stock.
